Taking its shape from Lamy's classic safari line, the Lamy AL-star is made from lightweight durable aluminum and engineered to demanding specifications. This pen is designed to feel great in your hand. All instruments have transparent grip sections with ergonomically-formed two side moldings. The front part is made of clear grey plastic. The distinctive spring brass wire clip is made with a gleaming chrome finish.

Three writing systems are offered in ballpoint pens, fountain pens and rollerball pens. The rollerball pen features exchangeable rollerball refill LAMY M 63 black. Can be modified for use with all colors and refills, M 63, M 30, M 32.
